A single fake 1-star review can drop your overall rating score and scare away potential leads. While Google does not let you delete reviews directly, there is a clear official process to request removals.
Step 1: Flag the Review in Your Dashboard
Go to your Google Business Profile dashboard, select the offending review, and click "Flag as inappropriate". Choose the reason carefully (e.g., Conflict of Interest, Off-topic, Harassment).
Step 2: Appeal through Google Business Support
If flagging does not work within 72 hours, submit a support ticket. Provide documentation showing that the reviewer has never done business with you or is a direct competitor trying to manipulate rankings.
